QUOTE four

"Home is a place where teenagers go to refuel."

I forgot where i saw this particular quote? but i know it was way back before our good pal, Eduardo Saverin, became a billionaire. Before Facebook, home was definitely the place where teens go and power up. Well, actually, not just teens, I would think every single one of us would do that. If not, where in the world would we go?

No matter how much all those angsty teens like to dread going home, to a certain point, one can actually feel homesick when away for too long. Back when i still had Facebook, there was a particular video which caught my attention. It was viral. Everyone just had to watch it. My friends kept sharing it, my aunt caught a glimpse of it, and my parents were all over it (for the worse off reason... darn no more late nights)
It got me laughing. Really? They went to RI to study? Singapore's most elite school? it's like Harvard/oxford in high school standard. gosh. Anyways, the teens were more than willing to return to wherever they came from. I would be too. :P

I was once like that i suppose. Still am at times. Grabbing any chance not to stay home. But then i always felt something was amiss. Like a part of me "gone" when i'm away for a few nights. Probably my family's undying love for me.

I guess, teens think of escaping home, when they wish to be an adult, a control over their life. Little do they know that you get the most respect when back at home, as long as you are as respectful to everyone within those walls.

Facebook may be the new "home" to most. But love of your friends from Facebook still does not complete the equation that Family can complete.

No matter how true, it is still true.
